RPA

RPA

What is RPA ?

  • Robotic process automation (RPA) is the application of technology that allows employees in a company to configure computer software or a “robot” to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction, manipulating data, triggering responses and communicating with other digital systems.
  • Just as industrial robots are remaking the manufacturing industry by creating higher production rates and improved quality, RPA “robots” are revolutionizing the way we think about and administer business processes, IT support processes, workflow processes, remote infrastructure and back-office work. RPA provides dramatic improvements in accuracy and cycle time and increased productivity in transaction processing while it elevates the nature of work by removing people from dull, repetitive tasks.
  • The technology of RPA can be applied specifically to a wide range of industries.
  • 2000+ Jobs available on RPA, get more details on job portals
  • Some companies hiring RPA professionals are EMC, Oracle, Accenture, HP, TCS, WIPRO, CapGemini, L&T and Shell etc.
  • Professionals will have 50% more earning potential compared to other technologies
  • You will be trained on RPA tools, Real world case studies and projects.

Robotic Process Automation

Robotic Process Automation

Robotic Process Automation(RPA)

We ‘re not talking about futuristic, mechanical robots; we ‘re talking about intelligent software robots that automate virtually any business activity. RPA is the fastest and most efficient way to acquire, enhance, and deliver information from Workforce. Every enterprise organization is under immense pressures to digitize and automate all aspects of their operations, This was a great opportunity to hear from companies concerning their experiences with robotic process automation RPA.

RPA features driving adoption:
1. Cost Reduction
2. Better Service delivery
3. Non-invasive nature
4. Easier management & Control
5. Comparatively matured tools
6. Short time investment recovery

Challenges with RPA implementation
1. Resistance from clients’ IT Team
2. Hidden costs
3. Lack of real-time visibility

Though there are many tools competing to capture this space, still there is a lot to be done in terms of tools performance and a long way to go.

IoT

IoT

The Internet of things (stylised Internet of Things or IoT) is the internetworking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as “connected devices” and “smart devices”), buildings, and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data. In 2013 the Global Standards Initiative on Internet of Things (IoT-GSI) defined the IoT as “the infrastructure of the information society.” The IoT allows objects to be sensed and/or controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit in addition to reduced human intervention. When IoT is augmented with sensors and actuators, the technology becomes an instance of the more general class of cyber-physical systems, which also encompasses technologies such as smart grids, smart homes, intelligent transportation and smart cities. Each thing is uniquely identifiable through its embedded computing system but is able to interoperate within the existing Internet infrastructure. Experts estimate that the IoT will consist of almost 50 billion objects by 2020.

Typically, IoT is expected to offer advanced connectivity of devices, systems, and services that goes beyond machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and covers a variety of protocols, domains, and applications. The interconnection of these embedded devices (including smart objects), is expected to usher in automation in nearly all fields, while also enabling advanced applications like a smart grid, and expanding to the areas such as smart cities.

Career Counselling

Career Counselling

Career counselling is something that has been happening the traditional way for far too long. In this traditional method adopted by career counselors, they essentially act as information providers to the student. It is all about more and more information about different courses or careers to those people who are seeking career help. However, with the advent of internet, information per-se is not the key. In fact, the key to correct Career Counselling is now more about helping the student understand his/her strength or talent profile and then guiding them on the path that is most suited to the student. This is so because it has been proven that if one operates in those areas or fields where one is able to put his/her strengths to use, then the individual gets a deep sense of happiness and fulfillment, thus ensuring an extraordinary performance in that area and gets rewarded extraordinarily. So the first step is to find ones’ INHERENT STRENGTHS or TALENTS. The question is how to find these? Please give us a call/send a mail.

The Importance of Speaking Practice

There are 4 key skills when you learn a language:

  1. listening
  2. speaking
  3. reading
  4. writing

Which one of these is the “Odd-One-Out”? Which one of these is different from the other three? The answer is speaking. The other three you can do alone, on your own, without anyone else. You can listen to the radio alone. You can read a book alone. You can write a letter alone. But you can’t really speak alone! Speaking to yourself can be “dangerous” because men in white coats may come and take you away!!

That is why you should make every effort possible to find somebody to speak with. Where can you find people who can speak English with you? And how can you practice speaking when you are alone?

At School/ College

If you go to a language school, you should use the opportunity to speak to your teachers and other students. When you go home, you can still practise listening, reading and writing, but you probably can’t practise speaking. If your teacher asks you a question, take the opportunity to answer. Try to say as much as possible. If your teacher asks you to speak in pairs or groups with other students, try to say as much as possible. Don’t worry about your mistakes. Just speak!

Conversation Clubs

Many cities around the world have conversation clubs where people can exchange one language for another. They are usually free although some may charge a small entrance fee. This MERITAS Club is created for people who wants to practice to improve their communication skills.

Songs and Video

Listen to the words of an English-language song that you like. Then repeat them to yourself and try to sing with the music. Repeat the words as many times as possible until they become automatic. Soon you’ll be singing the whole song. Or listen to one of your favourite actors on video and repeat one or two sentences that you like. Do it until it becomes automatic. It’s good practice for your memory and for the mouth muscles that you need for English.

Above all, don’t be afraid to speak. You must try to speak, even if you make mistakes. You cannot learn without mistakes. There is a saying: “The person who never made a mistake never made anything.” So think of your mistakes as something positive and useful.

Speak as much as possible! Make as many mistakes as possible! When you know that you have made a mistake, you know that you have made progress. You are always welcome to Join MERITAS English Club. See you soon. Cheers.
